More company diversity and equal opportunity policies, but actual targets still rare

The new Thomson Reuters Diversity & Inclusion Index shows more companies are adopting diversity and equal opportunity policies, but the number willing to disclose actual targets remains low.

Thomson Reuters have observed a steady increase in the number of companies who have adopted diversity and opportunity policies globally from 61% of 3,569 companies five years ago to 70% of 4,580 companies today.

However, there’s a substantial gap when it comes to the reporting of specific targets for diversity and equal opportunity which has remained essentially unchanged at 10%-12% of companies over the same period.
