The Early Careers Network at Thomson Reuters

The Thomson Reuters Early Careers Network strives to develop and equip early career professionals with the skills to take control of their career development, reach their potential, and become the leaders of tomorrow.

We want to leverage the multi-generational differences and commonalities for personal and professional growth in order to attract and retain talent that enhances Thomson Reuters strength in diversity and inclusion in the marketplace.

The Early Careers Network hosts and attends many events throughout the year. These events challenge employees to further their careers. Delegates are sent to events to help them learn, get involved, and speak on behalf of Thomson Reuters for a variety of topics.

One such event was the One Young World Summit in Ottawa, Canada. During this event Justin Jing Fan, a Business Analyst in our Beijing office, flew to Ottawa and spoke about “how millennials make a difference to global companies.” You can read more about his experience on his LinkedIn Blog.

About Thomson Reuters Business Resource Groups (BRGs)

As an organization that values diversity, Thomson Reuters has established a formal process for employees to develop Business Resource Groups (BRGs). BRGs are voluntary, employee-driven associations that benefit both our employees and the company’s business goals. Today, we have 8 BRG’s with over 90 chapters globally.
