Virtual reality and new ways to interact with videos, photography and games has been a hot topic for decades, often with a big “wow factor.”

While much of the technology behind virtual reality has been used for entertainment purposes with a growing presence in the professional sector, a new agreement between Samsung and Reuters is showcasing news photography in a new way.

“Through VR and 360 technology, customers will be able to deepen their perspective on news events and gain a richer understanding of the context.”
