Kirsten Maslen

A strong CV and a confident manner might get you through the door but it’s commercial awareness that hiring partners are really looking for – it could land you your dream training contract. What is it and how do you get it?

We put together a panel to discuss commercial awareness, with John Watkins, Director of Employability, University of Law; Marie Scott, Partner, Nabarro; Cameron Stocks, Pupil Barrister, Hardwicke; and Paul Cannons, Careers Consultant, BPP University. The video contains insight and advice for students embarking on a career in the legal world.

If you’re preparing for an interview, be sure to download our handout on commercial awareness.
