CEO at Laurence Simons Search
Clare Beresford is the CEO at Laurence Simons Search, a leading international legal and compliance search firm. Clare joined the company as Global Managing Director in September 2018, before completing a management buyout in March 2018.
Prior to taking on this role Clare worked in senior management roles for Article One Partners and TrenStar.
After completing the bar finals, Clare completed her Masters in European Law at Institut des Etudes Europeenes in Brussels, Belgium. Clare is fluent in English and French.
As a female owner of a legal executive search firm, with an all-female senior leadership team, diversity and inclusion is of extreme importance to Clare. She is an active member of the 30% Club, strong supporter of the Law Society Women in Law Pledge, 10,000 Black Intern Scheme, and an original advocate of the General Counsel Oath. A major driver for Clare’s career has been an ongoing commitment to work together to harness the power of equality to transform the legal sector.
